Restaurant
Our restaurant, Wannas Place, sets directly on the beach over looking a beautiful view to the islands of Ko Poda. Typical dishes from Thailand and from Switzerland are served here. During a holidays, one should try some national specialities, such as coconut milk curry or a spicy beef salad. These and many more original Thai dishes are available on our extensive menu. If you preference in European food, we also serve the original "Zurich Geschnetzeltes", Schnitzel with cream sauce and noodles or veal sausage with "Rösti".
Beverage choices can be a glass of good wine or a cold fresh draught beer or a fresh pressed fruit juice of melons, pineapples, mango or other exotic fruits - and to end a nice meal with a good cup of coffee, our coffee is imported from Europe and every cup is made in a special coffee machine. By now, hopefully, you should be hungry or how we say in Switzerland "gluschtig"?

Activities

Within the area of Ao Nang, there are many places of interest within easy reach by car or by a typical Thai boat ride, a long tail boat. For longer distance at sea one can use a bigger boat which can be organized by ourselves or with our partner in Ao Nang. A day trip on a boat will give you a nice impression of the islands around Ao Nang. Discover your favorite island, the resort's own boat will bring you there for a full day of swimming, laying in the sun, snorkeling or just enjoy your holidays.

Some of the recommended trips to do:
4 island trip: Ko Poda, Chicken Island, Phranang Beach, Rai Ley Beach
5 island trip: Ko Dang, Ko Pele, Ko Pakpis, Ko Hong Lagoon, Ko Hong Island

Equally enjoyable land trip, by car to the Tiger cave - a famous Thai temple and a great view of the water falls Huay To, or to the Shell Cemetery beach or to the botanical garden in Ao Luk.

For a different experience, diving trips can be easily arranged with Aqua Vision, a diving school located next to our resort. The local dive sites which are within Krabi waters - are beautiful with great variety of flora and fauna, trips are done in small group of people on long tail boat. The day trips to other dive sites are on bigger boat, with two dives - lunch and drinks are served on the boat.

The popular, definitely the highlight of any diving trips are sites around Shark Point, the anemone reef and the King Cruiser wreck, which are well known and only a short distance to the world famous Phi Phi Islands - which should not be missed.
