Ao Nang Nightlife
What to Do at Night in Ao Nang
Ao Nang is not necessarily the best place to head to if you’re looking for a mad night scene that encompasses partying until dawn but if a mid-range, mellow groove is your thing then you’ve come exactly to the right place.
The heart of Ao Nang nightlife entertainment scene is aptly named Ao Nang Center Point; it is located off the beachfront road otherwise dominated by shops and restaurants. The other main nightlife complexes – Soi RCA Entertainment and Soi Bamboo - are located off Ao Nang Road (in the continuity of the beach road) but on its southern branch.
The southern end of the beach also features some cool places to look for if you would like to spend a laid-back evening on the beach under the stars.Read More

The largest side of the bar features tables, chairs, a pool table, and the bar counter, while on the other side of the lane there’s just a few tables and the stage for the talented cover band to perform on. All the classic tunes of pop-rock are executed with brio by the band. In fact, the live music is the real centre of attraction in this quaint bar. The drink list hosts all the usual suspects from beers to cocktails Read More...

With a reggae bar at the end and loads of bars lining the street, Soi RCA Entertainment is a raucous, colourful and sometimes earsplitting version of Bangkok’s Soi Cowboy or Phuket’s Soi Bangla but without the extremes. True to Ao Nang form, Soi RCA Entertainment is more laid back than its bigger-city equivalents and even though there are girlie bars galore and a few glamorous individuals of questionable sexual identity there’s none of the raunchiness that’s associated with Bangla in Patong and Cowboy in Bangkok.
