This pair of beautiful islands is located
40 kilometers south-east of Phuket and has become justifiably
famous for its specular rock formations rising from the turquoise
seas. Tourism has not been able to destroy the overwhelming
beauty of this place even with the development of hotels,
resorts and small bungalows.

Sailing
|
| |
The Andaman sea is fast catching up to such
traditional sailing destinations such as the Caribbean and
Mediterranean with a reputation for excellent sail and boat
cruising. The winds are good during many months of the year,
anchorages are scattered through out the spectacular scenery.
The water is warm and clear and very inviting. You will also
encounter local fisherman who are friendly and can offer you
the purchase of fresh fish and other seafood. SUNSAIL in phuket
operates the only fleet of bareboats here, though privately
owned yachts are available from charter company Thai Marine
Leisure (TML) also based in Phuket.

Island Day Trips
|
| |
Most of the beautiful Andaman Ocean postcard
vistas you see when travelling in Thailand are taken on the
small islands surrounding Phuket. Some of them are exquisitely
beautiful and many are uninhabited. And it only takes a boat
to get there. You can rent your own boat from Phi Phi and
visit islands like Racha, Koh Kai Nok, Koh Yao Noi and Koh
Thon - to name a few. These tours can be arrange from the
hotel.
