Action Activities to participate in at the Lai Thai Resort

The following activities can be booked through the Lai Thai Resort:

Snorkeling/Scuba - the many small islands surrounding Ao Nang provide ideal venues for snorkeling. These are accessible by local longtail boats. In addition there are several PADI certified dive shops.

Longtail boats - boats can be rented for trips to neighboring islands and beaches. These can be hired at the beachfront in Ao Nang. Half day trips are 800 and full day rental is 1,500 Baht. A water taxi service is also available for short trips.

Rock Climbing - some of the best rock climbing in Asia can be found in Krabi. From beginners to experts, there are programs for all. For details, see King Climbers.

Kayaking - Whether sea Kayaking is your choice, or leisurely floating through the mangrove forests, Krabi has it all. We can arrange various full day trips, for details click on SeaCanoe.

Tiger Cave / Wat Tam Suea - the main attraction of the temple compound are the numerous caves located in the valley. The jungle setting finds monks living in the caves and you can explore the paths leading amongst huge trees and strange rock formations, walking through a land that time has forgot. Admission free.

Elephant Rides - one hour trips for about 700 Baht and two hours for 1,200 Baht can be booked by Lai Thai.

National Parks - numerous national parks are located nearby, notably than Bokaranee, the hot springs at Klong Tom, Huay to waterfall and fossil shell beach.
