Krabi Bus Terminal (Bor Khor Sor in Thai) is located to the north of the city, near the junction between Utarakit Road (the road that starts downtown Krabi and runs along the river) and Phetkasem Road (aka Krabi Airport Road). As with most, if not all, intercity bus terminals, Krabi Town’s features a choice of small stores and restaurants, at which passengers can restore themselves while waiting for their bus departure.
The Thai intercity bus network is very reliable and offers a fair range of bus options for all budgets. From Krabi Town Bus Station, you can get to almost anywhere in Thailand at a cheaper rate than you would by plane, assuming that you’re not in a hurry. In addition to the large intercity buses, you also can find minibus services at Krabi Town Bor Khor Sor, which serve the same destinations as the big buses, but are slightly faster.

Second-class buses are air-conditioned, but also make many stops between cities. First-class buses are air-conditioned, but travel directly between two bus terminals, only stopping for comfort breaks occasionally. These three bus classes each use 34-seat vehciles. The VIP bus class is air-conditioned, usually do not stop apart from one or two comfort stops (one stop between Bangkok and Krabi Town) and have only 24 seats. Obviously, the price of a trip increases according to the class your bus belongs to.
